Decks On The Beach will be held on beautiful, 500 acre Justesen Ranch (NOT THE SAME Justesen Ranch in Tygh Valley used for Soak) about 130 miles east of Portland, in Grass Valley. It’s so far away from any major city, that you can see the Milky Way at night!

In his zone from deep house to techno, Ben Annand pairs impeccably smooth mixing skills with a dynamic style that keeps the music moving, artfully playing with breakdowns and spending most of his time in the mix. In more recent years, Ben Annand became a top West Coast festival DJ, and recently played a standout set at his 5th consecutive Lightning in a Bottle (CA). He has also appeared at Sunset Campout and Desert Hearts (CA), Oregon Eclipse (OR), Photosynthesis and Cascadia (WA), Shambhala and Motion Notion (BC, Canada).
J. Scott G. (formerly of Deepsky & Summer Channel) is a thirty year veteran electronic music producer, sound designer & composer who has released countless original albums and singles, and has also remixed A-list talent such as David Bowie, Adam Lambert, Madonna, Seal, Deadmau5, Shiny Toy Guns, The Crystal Method, Celldweller, Delerium, BT, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold (just to name a few). He’s written music that has appeared in major motion pictures such as Bad Boys II, Tomb Raider, and The Art Of War; television shows like CSI, Arrow, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, NFL, NBA & MLB game broadcasts; as well as numerous video games. Colorado native Joman first began producing electronic music at the age of 13, well before Denver became known as the home of Beatport, and DJs (including Joman himself) started taking center stage at the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. With no formal musical background and completely self-taught for most of his career, Joman’s love affair with electronic music has been anything but brief, spanning over 17 years and nearly 100 Beatport releases.

what else is there to do?
Besides the music, we are planning other daytime events like volleyball, dodgeball, inflatable sumo wrestling, morning yoga, etc. Our event property is a 500 acre ranch with a beautiful lake in the center. We recommend bringing swimsuits, inner tubes, rafts, games, etc. in order take advantage of the water! (Fishing is off limits, as requested by the ranch).
